About Me

I live in Avondale, Arizona, but in the summertime, you’ll find me out on an adventure in the forest with my dogs.

We are seeking relocation to a greener and cooler area.

Salt Lake City, Colorado Springs, Denver, Flagstaff, Minneapolis, Boise, Cheyenne, and Bozeman are just a few of Lacey’s favorite places!

She just needs her dad to find work there! If nothing else, hire me for Lacey, she loves coming to the office!

What Got Me Here

After graduating in 2017 with dual bachelor's degrees in finance and management, along with a minor in marketing and promotions, I spent several years mastering the art of communication and the sales process with various products and services.

Over time, I became obsessed with why people make the decisions they do. In 2022, while simultaneously working full-time, I made my own decision to enroll in an online educational program to immerse myself in the scientific art of User Experience.

I began the full-time career transition into User Experience Design in late 2023 and have been working on various freelance and contract projects since, covering everything from research and ideation to design and collaboration with development teams.

This website is designed to give you a taste of my personality and a deep dive into my skills through my completed work and professional experience.

My Top Skills

  • Sales and Marketing

From a lemonade stand in the park, to door-to-door pest control, to wholesale construction materials, to ice hockey gear in the desert, to mortgage loans in this economy, I have sold anything and everything. In my sales journey, I’ve found that the key to being a great salesperson is simply providing what the client/customer wants in a way that also meets their needs.

  • User Research

Steve Jobs once famously said, “People don’t know what they want until you show it to them. That’s why I never rely on market research. Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.” The real key to developing a product that fulfills people’s needs is by talking to the right people and asking the right questions.

  • Human-Centered Design

People use products that are reliable, familiar, and ultimately useful. The key to developing and selling a useful product is to put the people using it at the center, ask them what they want, uncover what they need, and tailor the product to fulfill their hopes and dreams.

I am obsessed with the great game of ice hockey and have developed a winning mentality through 20+ years of high-level competition.

I am a top 5-in-the-world Arizona Coyotes hockey fan and was featured here in a Coors Light sponsored Coyotes commercial.

I don’t drink often, but I can assure you I know how to have a great time.

I was absolutely heartbroken by the franchise relocation to Utah, but in the wise words of Celine Dion; my heart will go on, and on.

I am also looking to relocate out of Arizona. I have lived here for 28+ years and am ready for a change of scenery and cooler environment.
